About Oakmont Estates
Oakmont Estates Development of Lubbock is continuing the tradition of Orchard Park, one of the most successful residential developments in the history of Lubbock. Ken Flagg, who passed away in 2011, was part of the vision and excitement of the partnership. He was born in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
As a tribute to Ken’s friendship and guidance, the developers of Oakmont believe every time the name is spoken it reminds us of the professionalism, integrity, and grace of one of the men who made Lubbock what it is today. He is gone but not forgotten.
Oakmont Estates will be a place for homeowners to settle, a sense of place with unique streets, tree lined boulevards and pocket parks, not a “cookie-cutter” development by any means. A neighborhood designed to hold and multiply value over generations.
The mission of Lubbock-Cooper ISD is to build the future one student at a time. To accomplish this vision for our children’s future, the Lubbock-Cooper schools, parents, and community will join together in a partnership designed to produce a safe and orderly learning environment within which academic excellence may flourish.
The vision of Lubbock-Cooper ISD is to ensure that all students graduating from our school system will possess the academic, technological, and interpersonal skills to succeed in the challenging world they will enter. As a result, the District has set annual goals to focus efforts toward meeting this challenge.
